# Parent/Child Inscriptions

## Attach additional content to your @handles

A recent expansion to the Ordinals Protocol now allows an inscription to act as a "Parent" envelope. With any number of "Children" inscriptions to exist underneath it.  

This upgrade adds even further value to the @handles protocol.  \
Now becoming a branding/copyright/trademark asset.

### Child inscription examples:

* Logos
* Artworks/Designs
* Documents 
* Product Lines
* Applications/Code Structures

The Parent/Child protocol has been pushed to the [Ord client](https://github.com/ordinals/ord). \
However, its syntax has not yet been released.  

We will update it as soon as it becomes available.  Expected by mid-October 2023 \
